This estimate is based on the current deployment: a single VM hosting all services, reserved IP, and storage. If usage grows or redundancy is required, costs may increase.

Billing & Ownership​

Access to billing and cost breakdowns is managed centrally by the project owners.

If financial visibility is required, request either:

  • Billing Account Viewer
  • Project Billing Manager (if needing to modify budgets or alerts)

Requests for billing access should go through the platform administrator.

Cost Optimisation Opportunities​

  • Use preemptible instances or smaller machine types if traffic remains low.
  • Evaluate turning off non-production services when not in use (e.g., during off-hours) to reduce compute cost.
  • Monitor usage of persistent disks and delete old unused volumes.
  • When scale demand increases, consider Cloud Run / GKE autoscaling to optimise cost/performance.
